Many albums and hundreds of concerts have made Ivan and Vivian a very popular duo in the entertainment scene. Ivan Hicks has received numerous awards for his outstanding fiddling such as the induction into the North American Fiddlers Hall of Fame. Vivian who has been inducted into the new Brunswick Country Music Hall of Fame, has also been a strong promoter of old time fiddling as well as being an accomplished pianist and instructor at piano seminars. Stepping back in history and discovering more about our country, we’ll visit the area known as La Petite-Nation. Between the years of 1624 and 1760, two hundred and fifty seigneuries (or estates) were granted by the King of France to a lord (or Seigneur in French) for settling colonists. The majority of these Seigneuries were along the shores of the St. Lawrence and its main tributaries. We`ll visit one of these, Seigneur Papineau and it’s residence, then have lunch at the Chateau Montebello, a memorable moment in itself.
