4 Day Tour
For several years now this has been one of our favorite tours. The opportunity of viewing these fascinating creatures of the deep in their own environment is to say the least, thrilling. The beautiful countryside, breathtaking scenery, exquisite meals plus cruising and the whales make this one fantastic tour.
DAY 1 CORNWALL-QUÉBEC. Tour departs Cornwall, making our way along the south side of the St. Lawrence River to Québec City for our first overnight stay. This afternoon we’ll visit Aquarium du Quebec for a specially guided tour. We’ll check-in at the Chateau Laurier, located just out side of the Old Walled City. You’ll have the opportunity of really tasting the ambiance of this fascinating city. We are steps away from Restaurant Row where you might choose to dine this evening.
DAY 2 QUÉBEC-TADOUSSAC. Before leaving Quebec City, we’ll take you on an informative city tour. You’ll have some free time in the Old City for lunch on your own before the drive
along the north shore through the charming countryside of Charlevoix. We’ll overnight at Hotel Tadoussac overlooking the St. Lawrence River. (D)
DAY 3 TADOUSSAC-CHICOUTIMI. It will be an exciting morning as we head out for a whale watching cruise towards the gulf of the St Lawrence. There are five species of whales that makethis region their home for the summer months and we have seen many whales on previous tours. This afternoon will find us motor-coaching to Chicoutimi. This evening we’ll attend theshow called Ecce Mundo, featuring an array of dancers, special lighting effects and beautiful costumes. Those who have seen this show in past years, have raved about it. We overnight right in Chicoutimi. (B, D)
DAY 4 CHICOUTIMI-CORNWALL. It will be a different route today as we drive down through the Laurentides Reserve toward Quebec City. We’ll stop at Montmorency Falls and have lunch in the Manoir overlooking the Falls. Tour will be arriving back in Cornwall early this evening. (B, L)
