3 Day Tour
Every year, Syracuse hosts one of the oldest State Fairs in the Eastern United States. The fair is situated on 325 acres and has something for everyone. This tour is during senior days, and so if you are 60 years of age or older, please advise us upon registering, and we will DEDUCT $24 from your tour price. This also applies to children ages 12 and under.
You may choose to visit the Agriculture Museum, The Cornell University Agricultural Building, The Antique Tractor Display, the 50 horse-drawn carriages in the Carriage Center, or The Dairy Production Building to view butter sculpture. Enjoy demonstrations in the Home Craft Building and the livestock shows. Maybe the Hall of Health or the Historic Train Exhibit would capture your interest. The John Deere Horticulture Building is a favourite place for horticulturists. There are several entertainment areas including the free afternoon concerts at the Chevrolet Court, a large midway, equestrian competitions, daily parade which includes the spectacular Heinz Hitch (8 horse team of percherons), numerous food areas, family fun centre and much more, and it is all included with your admission. We have only named a very few of the numerous shows and exhibits!!
Day 1 Cornwall – Syracuse. Today is the Dairy Show as well as the first day of seniors day.
Day 2 Today is the Beef Show and the second day of seniors day with all new shows. For those who would like to spend part of the day shopping, we’ll take you to the Waterloo Premium Factory Outlets for a few hours.
Day 3 Upon leaving our hotel this morning, we’ll a couple of hours at the Carousel Mall in Syracuse before departing for home.
